The domestic team at Sheffield roofing specialists, Martin-Brooks, is ending 2013 on a high and predicting new business will reach record levels next year.
Martin-Brooks is confident enquiries from local residents will continue to increase, after completing its busiest year since 2008 and recording its best ever month in October.
Andrew Wheadon, Martin-Brooks’ estimator, said: “Despite the prolonged winter weather at the start of this year, we have seen consistent growth in new business, culminating in a hectic final quarter that has kept our domestic teams at full capacity. This upturn reflects emerging confidence among the construction sector and demonstrates that customers are beginning to invest once again in property improvements.”
Martin-Brooks carries out residential work of all types, from small roof repairs to full replacements. The firm has experts in flat and pitched roofing, along with experienced heritage craftsmen who are qualified to work on listed buildings.
Andrew added: “We are hugely encouraged by this year’s increase in domestic enquiries and optimistic that it will continue for the foreseeable future. Although families’ budgets are still being squeezed, we believe our ongoing commitment to marketing, combined with the excellent reputation we have earned for the quality of our work, means customers have faith in our ability to carry out essential repairs quickly, safely and with minimum disruption to their homes.”
