Built up felt and mastic asphalt are our ‘bread and butter,’ but in recent years single ply, liquid applied membranes and liquid coatings have become more common, as homeowners strive to find cost-effective answers to their flat roofing problems.

As members of the Competent Roofer scheme, we self-certify our flat roofing work, so you don’t need to seek building regulation approval for new installations, saving time and money. We are also members of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors’ (NFRC) Safe 2 Torch campaign, promoting and supporting the safe application of hot works required in the use of built up felt and mastic asphalt.  

 

Embracing new technologies

Certain roof sizes and types will suit certain materials and we aim to offer you as much information as possible to make an informed decision on the best way to proceed.

 

It is important to understand how each of the new single ply and liquid coating systems work and how they apply to different types and sizes of roof. Single layer membranes are ideal for larger projects, where speed and cost are of the essence, however, smaller, more intricate roofs are better served by a coating system, where ease of access can be a major benefit.

 

All our re-roofing systems will come with a minimum 10-year materials and labour guarantee and some of them can be offered with upgrades to give longer lifespans, depending on your requirements.

 

Green roofs

Green roof technologies are really starting to take root in domestic environments, partly due to government-backed incentives.

 

We specialise in intensive, semi intensive and extensive systems that are ideal for customers looking to reduce their carbon footprint and find a sustainable flat roof option.
