Superfast South Yorkshire Connection and Innovation Vouchers Scheme provide eligible SMEs with funding to improve their broadband connections and/or introduce digital innovations into the business.
Martin-Brooks (Roofing Specialists) Ltd applied for innovation funding through its Parent Company, Ross Holdings Ltd. The aim of the project was to migrate to a modern cloud based computer system that allowed information to be received electronically and requests for information to be issued electronically rather than using traditional paper based systems. This system uses the latest database technology and will enable the business to make full use of modern methods of data collection and transfer using mobile devices.
The new system has been deployed successfully and the company will be able to take full advantage of any new developments in IT & communications now that it has a modern flexible system.
Ross Holdings Ltd has received funding from The Sheffield City Region European Regional Development fund (ERDF), part of the European Structural Investment Fund (ESIF) portfolio 2015 to 2020.
